The same business and the same viewing gallery since 2000, trading as Music Companion and, for years, as Piano Gallery. Pre-owned instruments, sold, hired and bought back.

The business

Formerly Piano Gallery.

Music Companion has traded from IMM since 2000, and has been registered since February 2002 under UEN 52962107W. The Piano Gallery name ran alongside it for years, and a fair number of customers still arrive using it.

The viewing gallery has stayed where it is for a practical reason. A unit in the warehouse section of IMM gives the floor space to keep a real selection standing at once, which a retail frontage at retail rent would not.

What we actually do

Sell pre-owned grands and uprights, checked and prepared before they go on the floor
Rent instruments for events, recitals, shoots, homes and schools
Tune and regulate, on our instruments and on anyone else's
Move pianos, including taking grands apart and putting them back together

The viewing gallery

Several rooms, and every piano playable.

The unit at IMM is split into rooms, so an upright and a grand can be heard on their own rather than over each other. Everything on the floor can be sat down at and played.
